Towering snow-capped peaks, labyrinth waterways and the most spectacular coastline you’re ever likely to experience await you on our accessible Norwegian Fjords Cruise.
Holiday Overview
Famous for its breathtakingly beautiful fjords, world-class seafood, Viking history and peaceful, picture-perfect port towns, Norway is a wonderful holiday destination. Somehow, it’s even better when explored aboard one of P&O’s flagship cruise liners, the Iona.
Equipped with fully accessible cabins, a swimming pool, theatre, four-screen cinema and striking, glass-roofed SkyDome, it’s pure luxury. On your tour, you’ll visit Stavanger, with its historic wooden city centre. You’ll stop off at Olden and experience the unforgettable beauty of millions of years of glacial erosion as we cruise through Innvikifjorden, Nordfjord and the surrounding waterways. Finally, we’ll arrive in Haugesund - historic homeland of the Viking raiders who swept across Europe between the 8th and 11th centuries.
As with all Limitless holidays, you’ll receive help and assistance from the Limitless care team throughout the voyage, ensuring you’re able to make the most of your time. Whether you want a hand when checking-in or transferring to and from our start location, we’ll be there by your side. We’re even offering a dedicated “potter around the port” service exclusively for Limitless guests, so that you’re better able to enjoy the stops in Stavanger, Hellesylt, Olden and Haugesund.
Your tour includes your stay in your full-board, accessible cabin aboard the Iona. If you would like more information about accessibility aboard the Iona, we recommend getting in touch with one of the Limitless Travel Advisors on 0800 711 7232.

** Limitless Travel carefully pick out cruise itineraries to ensure minimal anchor ports (where a small boat or ‘tender’ transports guests to shore) Unfortunately port changes can happen due to a number of reasons while at sea. Limitless Travel will not be held accountable for any port changes.
Today your adventure begins! Either join our transfer to the cruise port or park your car in the complimentary parking; before we board P&O's Iona cruise ship. The largest vessel in the P&O fleet, the Iona was launched in 2019 and boasts a beautiful, contemporary style and the latest facilities.
Our care team will help you check-in your bags, after which they’ll be taken directly to your room. As you’re staying in an accessible cabin, you also benefit from Priority Embarkation.
Your first day on the water will see us make our way around the English coast and up into the North Sea. It’s the perfect opportunity to explore the ship, sit back and take in the spectacular sea views and make use of the onboard facilities.
Fancy catching a film in the four-screen cinema complex? No problem. Prefer a cocktail in the Club House? The Iona’s skilled bartenders await you. As always, our experienced care team will be on-hand throughout the day to help you make the most of your experience.
Land ahoy! Stavanger is our first port of call and a perfect introduction to the Norwegian coastline. Once a Viking stronghold, the city is famed for the beautiful wooden homes that dominate its historic centre. The cruise ship will dock just a 10-minute walk from the city centre, so you’ll be able to make the most of your time in this picturesque destination.
Included: Full Board
Olden, Norway (cruising through Innvikfjorden & Nordfjord)
Today, we arrive in the land of the Vikings, Haugesund. Though the town itself is relatively young, the local area was a hotbed of Viking activity and the first king of Norway, Harald Fairhair, lived just 8km from the modern settlement. Home to the Norwegian International Film Festival and a high-profile annual jazz gathering, there’s a lot of culture packed into this relatively small town.
As we dock, you’ll have the chance to explore the local area or choose to stay on the ship and make the most of the Iona’s sauna, steam room or swimming pool, as well as any of the other onboard facilities.
Included: Full Board
Hellesylt, Norway (cruising through Geirangerfjord, Sunnylysfjorden, Storfjorden)
Sitting proudly on the arm of Geirangerfjord, we reach the small village of Hellesylt. Don't be fooled by it's welcoming of cruise ships, Hellesylt is one of the more sedate towns of the fjords. This port could be the perfect place to enjoy the ship at its quietest, stay on board with a drink to soak up the gorgeous views. Iona docks in the heart of the Village. As always, our experienced care team will be on-hand throughout the day to help you make the most of your time at Hellesylt. In the afternoon Iona will glide through Geirangerfjord, Sunnylvsfjorden & Storfjorden.
*Please note, on sail dates - 31st May 2025, 14 June 2025, 28th June 2025, 12th July 2025, 9th Aug 2025 & 23rd Aug 2025 the ship will dock in Flam, Norway in replace of Hellesylt. For further details please contact the sales team.
*An anchor port may be used at Hellesylt & Flam, where a small boat or ‘tender’ will transport guests to shore. We will always try to keep you informed of these anchor port locations and where accessibility may be restricted. Unfortunately, port changes can happen due to a number of reasons while at sea, in which case Limitless Travel cannot be held accountable.
Home of the Vikings! Today we explore this new and exciting port with the assistance of our care team. If you wish, you can also stay on the ship and sample the delights Iona has to offer including "infinity" swimming pools, sauna and steams.
Today, we’ll sail our way down through the North Sea as we make our way back to Southampton. Why not have breakfast delivered to your state room, wind down by the pool (hoists available) or get involved in the onboard games, pay a visit to the casino or join in with any of the alternative activities on offer? Every night, the ship’s stages come alive with spectacular shows, comedy acts and karaoke, while the restaurants serve up an excellent array of culinary treats.
After your last breakfast, we’ll help you check-out. Your bags will be taken down by the Iona's crew and our care team will be on-hand to assist you. From here you will join the transfers back to the pick-up points, relaxed, rejuvenated and ready for your next Limitless adventure. We can’t wait to see you again!
