Day 1 Travel to Lanzarote

After meeting the Limitless Team at the airport special assistance desk, we’ll make our way through security and head for our boarding gate together. We recommend booking special assistance with the airport before flying if required, but the Limitless team will also be on hand to provide additional support as we check in and board the plane. We're there to ensure the airport experience is as easy as possible, advocate on your behalf, and give you the confidence to fly, so we'll be by your side throughout the journey.

On arrival at our destination, the Limitless Team will help you through the airport and onto the awaiting accessible transfer vehicle. From there, it’s on to your excellent disabled-friendly hotel, where we’ll check in, get you settled and comfortable in your room, and enjoy a delicious evening meal with your fellow guests. 

Day 2 Sun, Swimming & Poolside Activities

On your first full day on holiday, we’ll take it easy and get to know the hotel and its surroundings. With two ramp-accessible swimming pools, you can soak up the Lanzarote sun and cool off whenever you fancy. There’s also a full programme of specially adapted activities, including meditation, easy aerobics and yoga.

Whether you’re kicking back, unwinding and laying the foundations for a fantastic holiday, getting stuck into your holiday reading, or making a splash in the pool, it’s a wonderfully relaxing start to the holiday. Today, you can join our Limitless excursion to nearby Puerto del Carmen. A lively coastal town with gorgeous sandy beaches, an atmospheric old town and a bustling harbour, it’s one of Lanzarote’s most popular destinations for good reason. We recommend heading to the harbour for a beverage and a little people-watching before sampling some of the delightful seafood and wandering along the promenade for a post-prandial stroll.

In the afternoon, you can join a private cookery class that will introduce you to some of the island’s most beloved dishes and teach you how to whip up a Canarian feast. Perfect for foodies, it’s an excellent opportunity to pick up a few new recipes to impress friends back home.

Day 4 Vineyard Visit & Wine Tasting

With its unique volcanic soil, Lanzarote has a long history of winemaking and is home to some of Spain’s oldest vineyards. Today, you can sample a glass (or two!) of this fascinating heritage on an accessible tour of a local vineyard. As well as learning more about the island’s winemaking processes and traditions, there will be plenty of time to relax on the terrace and enjoy the vineyard’s breathtaking views.

​On returning to the hotel, we’ll make the most of our newly-acquired expertise with a wine tasting experience. With the day proceeding at a delightfully leisurely pace, why not enjoy the last of the day’s warming sun before we all come together for another delightful dinner?

Today, we will make the most of the hotel’s proximity to our local accessible beach and spend the day delighting in Lanzarote’s spectacular sun, sea and sand. Situated on a quiet stretch of coastline and away from the crowds, our chosen beach features ramped access and adapted sea wheelchairs are available. If you have been looking forward to testing the gorgeous Atlantic waters, this is the perfect opportunity, and the Limitless Team will be on hand to help you take the plunge.

​When you’re ready for a break from the sand, make your way over to one of several beachside bars for a refreshing beverage and a bite to eat. Later in the afternoon, we will return to the hotel to prepare for dinner and a little light evening entertainment.

Today, we will board our accessible minibus to tour Timanfaya with a private English-speaking guide. Travelling the iconic Volcano Route through the park, we will visit one of the island’s highest points to take in the remarkable panorama, learn about Lanzarote’s fiery history, and enjoy a coffee and café stop at Salinas De Janubio. An adventure you will never forget, Timanfaya epitomises everything that makes the island such a special holiday destination.

Day 7 Relax, Unwind & Treat Yourself

On your last full day in Lanzarote, we will spend the morning making the most of the hotel’s fantastic wellness services. Why not treat yourself to a full-body massage, pamper yourself with a well-earned beauty treatment, or participate in a gentle accessible yoga class? It’s a blissful way to start the day and ensure you’re fully relaxed before returning home.

In the afternoon, there’s a chance to head into the town, stroll the promenade and enjoy the holiday atmosphere along the seafront. Day 8 Airport Transfer & Flight Home

We’ll be on hand to help you through the airport, while you’re boarding the plane and during your flight. How do I book a UK short-haul holiday?

The first step in the booking process is speaking to a Limitless Travel Advisor on 0800 711 7112. While many Limitless Travellers contact us knowing exactly which short-haul holiday they want to book, many also call us for advice. We often help our travellers pick out the perfect holiday based on their needs and interests. So don’t hesitate to get in touch, even if you’re not sure which holiday to book yet.

When you’re ready to book, you’ll pay a deposit to confirm your place. The remainder of the balance is payable closer to the departure date. Flexible payment plans are available, allowing you to spread the cost of your holiday.

You will also discuss your holiday and needs with your Personal Travel Advisor to ensure you have the best possible care package and everything has been considered. Finally, the Limitless Care Team will contact you three months before departure to confirm you have all you need, are happy with arrangements, and are ready for your Limitless holiday.

We may also be able to arrange the hire of more specialist equipment, though this is dependent on availability. Flights FAQs

Are flights included in the cost of a Limitless short-haul holiday?

No, flights are not included in the cost of your Limitless short-haul holiday. However, we do provide extensive booking support, and your Limitless Personal Travel Advisor is always available to provide information and assist with any matter relating to travel and flights.

How do I book flights for Limitless holidays?

Having booked your Limitless short-haul holiday, we’ll send out flight details approximately three months before the departure date. You are then responsible for booking flights, though assistance and support are always available from your Personal Travel Advisor. You can choose to fly on a different flight to the Limitless Team and your fellow Limitless Travellers, but we will not be able to provide support at the airport or during the flight in this case. We will still arrange an accessible transfer to the hotel for you if you fly independently.

What airports do Limitless fly from and how do I get there?

For short-haul holidays, we aim to have two flight teams – one flying from a London airport and the other flying from an airport further north, typically Birmingham or Manchester. This gives Limitless Travellers greater choice and reduces travel time to and from the airport. The specific airports we use depend on destination, cost, flight availability and departure time. Where possible, we opt for a mid-day flight for your convenience.

Does Limitless liaise with the airport to organise special assistance?

Limitless Travellers are responsible for contacting and organising the special assistance team at the airport. The airport’s special assistance team will help you with check-in, security and boarding, and we recommend using their services if possible. Though the special assistance team will manage most of your airport experience, the Limitless Team will also be on hand to accompany you, provide support and advocate on your behalf.

How do the Limitless Team provide support at the airport and while flying?

The Limitless Team will usually meet you at the airport's special assistance desk, collect and handle luggage, and provide any support necessary. If required, we can schedule regular check-ins during the flight. Our team is highly experienced and regularly accompanies Limitless Travellers on international flights. As such, we're able to make sure your journey is smooth and comfortable, and you feel confident travelling. For Limitless short-haul holidays, we guarantee we'll be there to help whenever you need us.

If you opt for the One-to-One Care package, your carer will meet you at the designated airport and provide dedicated support throughout the airport, flight, transfer and holiday.

How do we transfer from the destination airport to the hotel?

We've arranged accessible transport for the drive from your destination airport to the hotel, so you don't have to worry about transfers at all. We use transfer vehicles that have been vetted to ensure accessibility and are equipped with a ramp or hydraulic lift.
