* Limitless Travel carefully pick out cruise itineraries to ensure minimal anchor ports (where a small boat or ‘tender’ transports guests to shore) Unfortunately port changes can happen due to a number of reasons while at sea. Limitless Travel will not be held accountable for any port changes.
Your adventure begins right at your doorstep with our convenient and accessible home pick-up service, covering the first 125 miles at no extra cost. We’ll whisk you away to Southampton to join the tour group, where the Limitless Care Team will be ready to assist you with embarkation and ensure you are comfortably settled onboard and ready for a great holiday.
It's your first full day onboard, so we'll be taking things easy as we get to know the ship. Our Limitless Care Team will be on-hand to help and support you in whatever you would like to do. There is always something going on such as live music, karaoke, bingo and other organised events - along with the use of the fantastic swimming and steam room facilities.
Day 3 brings us to Santander, a perfect first port of call. Just a 10-minute walk from the historic city centre, Santander is the vibrant capital of the Cantabria region on Spain’s northern coast. Discover the magnificent Palacio de la Magdalena, the former royal summer residence, perched on the rocky La Magdalena Peninsula at the mouth of the Bay of Santander. This charming city offers a blend of rich history and stunning coastal views, making it an unforgettable stop on our journey.
Day 4 offers a well-deserved day at sea, perfect for rest and rejuvenation after the Spanish adventures yesterday. The P&O Ventura features an accessible pool designed to accommodate passengers with mobility needs. Equipped with mechanised pool lifts, the pool ensures safe and comfortable entry and exit for those with limited mobility. Additionally, there are gradual ramps with handrails, providing an alternative to stairs, along with strategically placed handrails around the pool area for added support. Some areas of the pool also offer zero-entry points, allowing for a smooth, step-free transition into the water. These thoughtful features ensure that all guests can fully enjoy the pool facilities.
On Day 5, explore the charming port city of Vigo. Just a short walk from the cruise terminal, you'll find delightful local shops, vibrant markets, and quaint cafes. Discover the beauty of the waterfront promenade, enjoy fresh seafood, and soak in the rich culture and history of this accessible and picturesque Spanish coastal gem.
Some of the best views of the Portuguese capital come as your ship cruises along the Tagus River. You pass the Belem Tower and the impressive Monument to the Discoveries with its statue of Henry the Navigator before arriving at the Lisbon cruise port. With your ship docked overnight, you will have ample time to explore this fabulous city.
Limitless have organised an exclusive city tour of Lisbon for our disabled passengers - a chance to explore this vibrant and historic city with a local guide and an accessible vehicle.
Your second day in port enables you once again to enjoy the charms of Lisbon. Start your day like the locals of old with a shot of Ginjinha, a cherry liqueur still cherished in small, historic bars. These charming spots offer a glimpse into Lisbon's past. Alternatively, indulge in a famous custard tart or savour delectable seafood, experiencing the rich culinary traditions of this vibrant city.
Today brings the opportunity to explore Porto, with our tour departing from the port of Leixões. Porto is an enchanting, historic Portuguese city renowned for its Roman ramparts and Parisian-style squares. Best known for giving its name to port wine, Porto offers rich cultural experiences. The cathedral area is a treasure trove of sights, including the Renaissance church of Santa Clara and the Barredo quarter, a densely populated area that has remained unchanged since medieval times.
Relax in the sunshine as you cruise through the Bay of Biscay. Sea days can be spent in any of the four pools on board; with the Riviera Deck aft hosts the much quieter Terrace Pool. All provide the perfect place to relax poolside, watching the waves ahead shimmer in the sun. The Beachcomber pool boasts a retractable roof, so even if the weather should fail you, the pool time fun doesn’t have to stop.
On the penultimate day of your holiday, the Ventura will stop off at St Peter Port in Guernsey. However, as the only way to head ashore is via the ship’s smaller tenders, it’s not always possible for Limitless guests to disembark.
Fortunately, Guernsey’s famous tax benefits extend to the Ventura, so it’s the perfect opportunity to get in some last-minute shopping and pick up a few reduced VAT items. You’ll also be able to enjoy an emptier ship and participate in activities hosted by either the P&O crew or our own Limitless Team.
Today marks the conclusion of your sun-filled voyage as we return to Southampton. Enjoy one last breakfast onboard before our dedicated care team assists you with disembarkation and ensures a smooth transfer back home.
