Embark on a disabled-friendly cruise that offers not only a sun-soaked getaway but also a deeper understanding of Spain and France's culture. Your journey commences in Southampton aboard P&O's Britannia cruise ship.

The Britannia offers 27 restaurants and bars on board including the Oriental Restaurant, The Limelight Club and The Epicurean. Accessible Cabins are available along with 4 pools (one of which has a pool hoist.) For entertainment you will find 8 theatres and lounges and entertainment venues on board so there's plenty to keep you entertained.

Your first port of call will be Gijon, nestled in the green coastal expanse of northwest Spain, stands as a charming seaside city at the heart of Asturias, renowned for its distinctive and delightful gastronomy. Its then of to see A Coruña, a lively beach town with a captivating food scene. As your cruise unfolds, you'll explore Santander before concluding your adventures in Cherbourg, France, probably best known for two things: its seafaring heritage and its starring role in the 1960s film The Umbrellas of Cherbourg.

Throughout your trip, you’ll be accompanied by the Limitless Team, who will provide care, support and assistance as and when you require it. Your adventure begins! Home-pick up (free of charge within the first 125 miles), or pick up at Southampton Central or Airport, or free parking included. From here, we’ll make our way to Southampton’s cruise terminal to board P&O's world-class Britannia cruise ship.

When boarding the Britannia, the Limitless team will help get your bags to check-in, after which the crew will take them directly to your accessible cabin. You’ll also benefit from Priority Boarding, so you’ll be exploring the ship before you know it!

As with most cruises, your holiday properly starts at sea. Today you will get time to know the ship as we head towards the warmer waters, taking in the spectacular sea views as we go and making the most of the ship’s impressive facilities. You will have the chance to meet the rest of the group and get to grips with your new home for the next few days. Look out for the Horizon paper which will show the locations and times of all the on board activities including, quizzes, Bingo, Live music and much more.

Welcome aboard P&O's Britannia. Boasting luxurious fittings and facilities, as well as a cool, contemporary style. Each accessible cabin comes with:

  • Accessible cabins available on request (very limited) - with wide access doors and space for mobility scooters to be stored
  • All bathrooms come with wet rooms, wide door access and grip-handles
  • Equipment hire available (including powered wheelchairs + hoists)
  • Outside, Balcony & Mini-Suite Cabins (prices may vary)

Full board: all meals are included in the price of your cruise holiday for complete ease and mouth-watering luxury at sea. There’s also an option to add a ‘drinks package’, which can be done either before or during your cruise.

Going from home to holiday has never been easier. We'll pick you in an accessible minibus, transferring you directly to the port where our team will be waiting to assist with check in.

This door to door transfer service is included free of charge each way for journeys within 125 miles of the port. For any journeys greater than 125 miles a charge of £3.25 per mile will apply (up to a maximum distance of 250 miles).

Please note, if you live in the following regions: Yorkshire, North East England, Wales, then an additional charge of £200 may be applied to your booking. This is due to our drivers needing to travel the night before to ensure pick up can be completed at the scheduled time on departure day.
