Tenerife Christmas Celebrations

On landing at Tenerife South Airport, you’ll be met in the arrivals hall by our trusted transfer partner. Our vehicles are fully accessible and wheelchairs can be safely secured in place, so you don’t have to transfer to a standard seat if you’d rather stay in your chair.

On arrival at your accessible accommodation in Tenerife, the Limitless Team will help you check-in, get your bags to your room and make yourself comfortable. Once you have unpacked and settled in, it is time to relax and discover your home for the next eleven days!

On your first full day in Tenerife, we will take it easy and get to know the hotel and the surrounding area. The hotel complex features three accessible swimming pools, all with hoist and ramp access. If you feel particularly active, there is also a gym to enjoy. Of course, if you want to sit back and soak up the sun by the pool, you are more than welcome to do so.

You will also have the opportunity to tour the local area and explore its amenities and attractions with your Tour Manager. In the evening, a special Christmas Eve meal will be served at the hotel. The perfect way to prepare for the big day itself, you will enjoy great food, excellent company and a wonderfully festive atmosphere.

It’s Christmas Day in sunny Tenerife! Today, we will enjoy Christmas Day with a fantastic Tenerife twist. After breakfast, we’ll stroll along the beachfront, taking in the gorgeous morning view and working up an appetite. Then, it’s time to get festive and kick off our traditional Christmas Day Dinner. 

As well as a delightful meal, you will enjoy the unbeatable company of your fellow travellers and the Limitless Team. There will be Christmas entertainment, holiday games and even a Christmas gift from the Limitless Team for each of our guests. There is also plenty of time to enjoy the fabulous Tenerife sun and a brilliantly warm Christmas Day.

Some people prefer laidback Boxing Day to all the excitement of Christmas Day. If you’re a committed beach bum, that may be the case on this tour, too. We’ll spend the 26th visiting a fully accessible beach and recovering from the festivities of the 25th. Just a short distance from the hotel, this beautiful stretch of coast features decking on the sand to allow for wheelchair access and also benefits from assisted bathing services. 

Whether you want to cool off in the temperate waters or relax and top up your tan on the sand, you’ll receive all the support you need to make the most of the day. As the evening draws in, we’ll enjoy a delicious dinner together. After, there will be some optional evening entertainment for anyone who wants to continue the celebrations.

On Day Five, we’re going on a wonderful three-hour scenic boat tour around the island. As we journey over the crystal clear waters of the Canary Islands, you’ll experience Tenerife from an entirely new perspective and get to know its breathtaking beaches, coves and harbours a little more intimately. For lunch, we found a great Italian restaurant that will have all you spaghetti fans out there licking your lips.

In the afternoon, you can choose whether you would like to remain at the beach or head back to the hotel for a dip in the accessible pool. Whatever your decision, the Limitless Team will remain on-hand to provide support and assistance whenever necessary. In the evening, we’ll tuck into another excellent dinner, then enjoy a complimentary ‘get-together’ cocktail.

Today, Tenerife’s natural beauty is centre stage. We are offering a range of extra activities (that are not included in the price of the holiday) for you to choose from. Always wanted to go dolphin spotting? Now you can. Prefer something a little larger? Why not try whale watching? Are you a bit of an adrenaline junkie? There’s always accessible paragliding.

All the excursions have been tried and tested by Limitless Travel staff to ensure that they are suitable for our holidaymakers and the tour team will be on-hand to offer any support and assistance you need.

When people think of Spanish culture, they think of tapas, bullfighting and flamenco. Today, we’ll learn a little about the last of these and enjoy a phenomenal live performance. A historic Spanish art form that originates in the country's south, flamenco is a fascinating blend of Arabic, Spanish and Gitano influences and a passionate expression of identity. 

We will head to the most authentic flamenco show on the island for a thrilling display of dancing, singing, clapping, strumming and finger snapping. By the end of it, we expect you to know your alegrías from your bulerías and to have mastered those complex flamenco clapping rhythms!

After breakfast, we will make our way to Puerto De La Cruz, a charming seaside town on Tenerife’s north coast. As well as a beautiful boardwalk, the town boasts a diverse array of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. It is also well known for its German bakeries, which produce some deliciously sweet goodies that are worth a try.

Puerto De La Cruz is also endowed with a significant number of historical heritage sites. History buffs will love the Casa de la Aduana, La Peña de Francia church and the Marquesa Hotel, while nature lovers will adore the botanical gardens. In the evening, we’ll return to the hotel, where dinner will be served and followed by evening entertainment organised by the Limitless Team. 

After a busy few days, we will spend New Year's Eve relaxing and preparing for the evening partying. Soak up the sun by the pool, get stuck into your holiday reading on the beach or take a stroll into town, but make sure you are well rested and ready to enjoy the final hours of the year.

It’s a special night, so we’ve arranged a mouthwatering New Year's Eve Gala Meal. If you make it to midnight, we’ll all usher in the new year by following the Spanish tradition of the Twelve Grapes. With each chime of the clock, you will pop another grape in your mouth until it strikes 12 and your cheeks are bursting with grapes. It is a fantastically fun way to start the new year.

After a good sleep and a tasty breakfast, you can choose to spend your last full day on the island however you please. The Limitless Team will assist in whatever way they can, so if you would like to do something in particular, let them know and we will try to arrange it. Whether you rest around the pool, pop to the shops for some last-minute gifts or head out for a long and lazy lunch, the day is yours to enjoy exactly as you please!

Time to say goodbye. Your Limitless Travel representative will be on-hand to assist with check-out at the hotel and see you onto your accessible transfer vehicle. Don’t worry if your flight is later on in the day – the hotel’s facilities, including the swimming pools, toilets, and public showers, are still open to you until it’s time for your departure. Your luggage can be safely stowed in a locked luggage safe, too. Now, all that’s left to do is say farewell to new friends and plan more accessible holidays in Tenerife!
