** Limitless Travel carefully pick out cruise itineraries to ensure minimal anchor ports (where a small boat or ‘tender’ transports guests to shore) Unfortunately port changes can happen due to a number of reasons while at sea. Limitless Travel will not be held accountable for any port changes.
Commence your relaxing holiday with the ease of home pick-up, included for free up to 125 miles, or make your own way to the port with complimentary parking available. Your destination is Southampton's cruise terminal, where you'll board Royal Caribbean's Independence of the Seas cruise ship. The Limitless team assists in smoothly transporting your bags to check-in, with priority boarding ensuring a swift start to your exploration of the ship!
Wake up today, savour breakfast on the ship, and let the Limitless team assist you in disembarking without stress, worry, or hassle. Transportation will then be organised to take everyone on a visit to Paris. Located just over 2 hours away from the port, you'll have the opportunity to witness iconic landmarks in the French capital, such as the Arc de Triomphe, and the Eiffel Tower. The beauty of this city is only equaled by its rich history and culture.
After the excitement of Paris yesterday, today you can enjoy your first full day at sea as we sail towards the captivating Spanish coast. Delight in awe-inspiring sea views and explore remarkable amenities while getting to know fellow Limitless guests.
Indulge in "me time" at the ship's spa, offering a range of services, from massages to tooth whitening. For those not inclined towards pampering, the Independence of the Seas boasts 12 restaurants, offering options from Fish and Chips to high-end cuisine. In the evenings, enjoy diverse entertainment venues, including onboard ice-skating rinks and captivating shows.
Today, after a delightful breakfast, the Limitless Team will assist as you disembark at your first Spanish destination, Bilbao. This Basque gem seamlessly blends old and new, evolving from an industrial hub to an art, architecture, and gastronomy centre since the Guggenheim's inauguration in 1997. Traverse historic avenues, like the Siete Calles of Casco Viejo, now adorned with boutiques and outdoor cafés. Futuristic structures, including the Guggenheim Museum and Gran Hotel Domine, overlook the Nervion River. Bilbao's charm, with its modern trams and unique scenes, unfolds on a Spain cruise, revealing why it's the pride of the Basque Country.
Another day, another port! Today you visit La Coruña. Situated on the northwestern tip of the Iberian Peninsula, this bustling fishing port is notably the closest port to New York. This charming blend of old and new encompasses a two-mile coastline with beaches. The historic town, focused around Maria Pita Square, features a variety of shops, bars, and restaurants, along with intriguing museums like the interactive House of Mankind, an aquarium, and a planetarium. Serving as the primary Atlantic gateway to the ruggedly scenic Galicia, La Coruña provides access to Santiago de Compostela, a globally renowned pilgrimage site known for its Romanesque cathedral.
Today the Limitless team will be on hand to help you visit your final port of Vigo, situated on the rugged west coast of the Galicia province. Throughout history, this charming town and its resilient residents have faced numerous naval attacks, including a couple led by Sir Francis Drake. Galicia's largest city is a dynamic modern metropolis, harmonising one of the world's busiest fishing ports with an atmospheric old quarter. It boasts numerous beautiful beaches at its doorstep and a vibrant nightlife scene featuring tapas bars, restaurants, and clubs.
The local seafood, considered among the best in Spain, benefits from the area's unique microclimate. Pulpo (octopus) holds the title of the local favourite, often enjoyed with glasses of Galician Albariño. For seafood enthusiasts, a visit to Ruá de Pescaderia (Fish Street) is a must, where Vigo's renowned oyster sellers showcase their offerings.
Today, as your cruise adventure nears its end, cherish your final day on board. Ensure you've experienced all you wished for, from a refreshing pool dip to trying a specialty restaurant. Most importantly, relish the moments, have fun, and share your adventures with fellow Limitless guests.
Conclude your holiday with a seamless check-out after breakfast. Our care team will assist as your bags are transferred by the ship's crew. Join transfers for the journey back home, feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. We look forward to seeing you again!
