Your journey starts here! Enjoy the convenience of a home pick-up (within the first 125 miles), or opt for pick-up at Southampton Central or Airport. If you're driving, free parking is included. From there, we’ll head to Southampton’s cruise terminal to board the world-class Ventura cruise ship by P&O. The Ventura offers all the amenities of a classic cruise liner, but with a more intimate atmosphere.
Upon boarding, the Limitless team will assist with getting your bags to check-in, after which the crew will deliver them directly to your accessible cabin. Plus, with Priority Boarding, you’ll be exploring the ship in no time!
As with most cruises your holiday starts at sea. Why not relax with a continental breakfast in your cabin before spending the day exploring the ship. Our Limitless Care Team will be on-hand to help and support, finding the best activities to get involved with. There is always something going on such as live music, karaoke, bingo and other organised events. The Horizon news paper delivered to your cabin will keep you up to date with what activities are available on board.
Land Ahoy! Your first port of call is the charming Gothic city of Santander. With the cruise port just a 10-minute walk from the historic city centre, it makes this your perfect first stop. Santander, the capital of Spain’s Cantabria region, is located on the north coast. Here, you’ll find the Palacio de la Magdalena, once the royal summer residence, perched on the rocky La Magdalena Peninsula at the mouth of the Bay of Santander. The Limitless team will be with you every step of the way as you enjoy a leisurely stroll through this charming town to take in the sights.
Back on board today as the ship heads to your next exciting destination. Why not unwind today at any of the four pools on board (one complete with pool hoist). For a more tranquil experience, head to the Terrace Pool on the Riviera Deck aft. All pools offer a perfect spot to relax by the water, watching the sun sparkle on the waves. The Beachcomber Pool features a retractable roof, ensuring that even if the weather doesn’t cooperate, your poolside fun continues uninterrupted.
Bienvenidos a España! Your next stop is the captivating town of Vigo, a historic maritime hub known for its stunning neoclassical architecture and home to Europe’s largest fishing fleet. Vigo exudes charm, with its lively tapas bars, cozy cafes, and excellent restaurants.
Your cruise ship will dock just a few minutes from the palm-lined streets of Vigo’s town centre meaning no additional transport is required. Our caregivers will be there as always to assist you as you disembark and venture out to experience this wonderful destination. We highly recommend trying the local seafood—it's as fresh as it gets!
Welcome to Portugal. As your ship cruises along the Tagus River, you'll enjoy some of the best views of the Portuguese capital. Sail past iconic landmarks like the Belem Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries, featuring the statue of Henry the Navigator, before arriving at the Lisbon cruise port. With an overnight stay in port, you'll have plenty of time to discover this incredible city.
Limitless has arranged an exclusive city tour of Lisbon for our disabled passengers—a unique opportunity to explore this vibrant and historic city with a local guide and an accessible vehicle. There is no additional charge for this. Just sit back and enjoy.
Your second day in port is here! In the past, locals in Lisbon would start their day with a shot of cherry liqueur known as Ginjinha. These traditional bars offer a glimpse into the city’s history and a chance to sample a local favorite. If you haven’t yet had your fill of custard tarts, now’s the perfect time to indulge! Today is ideal for a leisurely stroll around town, exploring any sights you might have missed yesterday and perhaps picking up a few local souvenirs.
Porto is a captivating Portuguese city rich in history, with Roman ramparts and elegant Parisian-style squares. Renowned for giving its name to port wine, the city boasts a wealth of treasures, including the Renaissance church of Santa Clara and the medieval Barredo quarter, which has retained its historic charm. The ship will dock in the charming coastal town of Leixões, about 30 minutes from Porto. The tour team will provide options: you can either stay in Leixões to enjoy its beautiful beach and exceptional cuisine or venture into Porto to explore further.
Another day to relax and explore the ship! With 12 onboard restaurants, you won't be short of choices. The Cinnamon and Saffron restaurants offer Freedom Dining, allowing guests to dine at whatever time and whichever table you please. The Bay Tree restaurant offers more traditional Club Dining, with passengers choosing between a 6.30pm or 8.30pm sitting, eating at the same table each night. If you are looking for a more indulgent option why not pay and visit one of the speciality restaurants like Sindu. Specialising in an authentic Indian cuisine with a British twist, there is really something for everyone to enjoy whilst on board.
On the penultimate day of your holiday, the Ventura will stop off at St Peter Port in Guernsey. However, as the only way to head ashore is via the ship’s smaller tenders, it’s not always possible for Limitless guests to disembark.
Fortunately, Guernsey’s famous tax benefits extend to the Ventura, so it’s the perfect opportunity to get in some last-minute shopping and pick up a few reduced VAT items. You’ll also be able to enjoy an emptier ship and participate in activities hosted by either the P&O crew or our own Limitless Team.
After your last breakfast, we’ll help you check-out. Your bags will be taken down by the Ventura's crew and our care team will be on-hand to assist you. From here you will join the transfers back to the pick-up points, relaxed, rejuvenated and ready for your next Limitless adventure. We can’t wait to see you again!
