Day 3: Discover Lakeland Farm in the Lake District
<>
Just a short drive from Blackpool town centre, the Lake District is considered one of the most picturesque national parks in the UK. Today, we’ll be heading out into Lakeside’s rolling fens to tour an authentic, working farm. There, we’ll enjoy a traditional livestock show, before getting up close and personal with the farm animals. The farm is equipped with a popular bistro cafe, so you’ll also get the chance to sample the farmers’ fresh produce and enjoy a hearty lunch.
Once we’re refuelled and ready to go, we’ll take a scenic drive back past the lakes to our Blackpool hotel. With the afternoon free, why not take a relaxing wander around the town, picking up some souvenirs as you go?
Lake Windermere
Day 4: Lake Windermere Cruise & Blackpool Illuminations
<>
On Day Four of your Blackpool holiday, we’ll venture back out to the countryside and visit England’s largest natural lake - Windermere. Starting with a stop at an idyllic restaurant that overlooks the lake, we’ll enjoy tea, coffee and maybe even a leisurely lunch, while taking in the breathtaking, mountainous backdrop.
We’ll then board a fully-accessible boat to cruise Windermere’s placid waters and soak up the serene surroundings and remarkable landscapes of the UK’s most popular national park. Once we’re back on dry land, we’ll return to the hotel and drive along the Golden Mile, experiencing Blackpool’s famous illuminations in all their glory as we go.
Today, your Blackpool Illuminations Tour comes to an end. After a delicious breakfast, our accessible coach will depart the hotel for our various UK drop-off locations.
