For your first full day on this accessible holiday we’ll explore Bournemouth and enjoy its spectacular seafront. We’ll start the day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel, then head over to the Oceanarium located on the seafront, where you can see extraordinary marine life, including turtles. There are also feeding sessions and an underwater tunnel for an immersive experience.
Afterwards, you’ll have plenty of time to explore Bournemouth’s award-winning beaches, bustling town centre, and lovely public gardens. For anyone who wants to enjoy a swim in the outdoor heated pool, there is a pool hoist to assist with access.
Today, we will head over to Poole and take a short, accessible boat trip to Brownsea Island. This small island, situated in Poole Harbour on the south coast of England, is renowned for its natural beauty, wildlife, and historical significance. Take in the breathtaking views at their on-site cafe.
On day three of your Bournemouth Coastal Delights tour, we venture to Swanage, another charming seaside town on the Dorset coastline. You'll have the chance to explore this quaint town and pick up some souvenirs. After lunch, we'll embark on an enjoyable accessible steam train ride through the stunning Isle of Purbeck – be sure to have your camera at the ready!
