From the infamous red light district to the city's cultural heart, the Museumplein, Amsterdam is a thrilling, innovative and, above all, beautiful city that will leave you desperate for more.

Day 1 Travel and Settling In

After landing at Amsterdam Schiphol airport, you will be met in the arrivals hall by our trusted transfer provider. Our transfer vehicles are fully accessible and wheelchair users can opt to stay in their chair, which will be safely secured in place, or transfer to a standard seat. On arriving at the hotel, the Limitless Team will help you check-in and get your bags to your room, then it’s time to settle in and get to know your surroundings before a delicious dinner is served in the on-site restaurant.

On your first, full day in the Netherlands, we’ll be heading out on a guided coach tour of the countryside surrounding De Rijp. A small town in the north of the Netherlands, De Rijp is famous for the role it played in developing the dams, dykes and other land reclamation technologies that facilitated the creation of modern Holland. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it offers a fascinating insight into the country’s history, boasts some of the region’s most spectacular countryside and is home to more than a few windmills! You’ll enjoy plenty of time to browse the local shops and visit one of the town’s many cafés before we learn a little more about local culture at a traditional cheese and clog factory.

The Netherlands is the home of the tulip. In fact, the tulip has played such an important role in Dutch history that ‘tulip mania’ was the cause of a remarkable economic crash in the 17th century. On Day Three of your accessible holiday, we’ll make our way to the Keukenhof Gardens, where you’ll learn all about this valuable flower and what it means to the Dutch people and economy. With over 7 million bulbs planted every year and 800 types of tulip within the gardens, this is definitely a day for our green-fingered guests.

Today, we’ll be boarding an accessible boat and cruising the canals of Amsterdam. World-renowned for its labyrinth waterways, there’s no better way to get to know the Netherland’s beautiful capital than aboard a relaxing guided tour. Later, we’ll visit the Museumplein, Amsterdam’s cultural heart and home to an astounding number of highly-regarded museums and galleries, including the Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum and the Stedelijk Museum. It’s also a great place to grab a drink, tuck into some delicious local treats and watch the world go by.

Today, your accessible Dutch Tulip tour comes to an end. After a hearty breakfast, the Limitless Team will help you check-out and board the accessible transfer vehicle that will take you to the airport. Located a little north of Amsterdam, your disabled friendly Netherlands hotel is ideally situated to take advantage of both the Dutch capital and the country's spectacular countryside. The hotel features wet room bathrooms in all guest rooms, serves up a delicious, home-cooked dinner every evening and benefits from plenty of outdoor space for you to relax in at the end of a busy day.

Half board: breakfast and evening meals are included in the price of your holiday. Look forward to fresh and delicious meals to both begin and round off the day. Meal selection will vary depending on where you’re staying. For breakfast you can expect either table service or a buffet style, with complimentary teas, coffees and juices included. In the evening you’ll be served dinner for every night of your stay. Please note, evening meals are not included for any fly-to tours labelled as ‘Bed and Breakfast’.

On international flights you'll be assisted throughout the journey by the Limitless Team. We'll do our utmost to make sure your travel is as smooth and seamless as possible. On arrival at your destination, you'll be met by our trusted transfer partners who always utilise fully accessible vehicles. We also take care of all transport during your holiday to ensure a comfortable journey throughout. All vehicles are fitted with either a ramp or hydraulic lift for easy access. Let us take care of the A to B, while you sit back, relax, and enjoy the journey.
