Day 1 Travel to Rome

After meeting the Limitless Team at the airport special assistance desk, we’ll make our way through security and head for our boarding gate together. We recommend booking special assistance with the airport before flying if required, but the Limitless team will also be on hand to provide additional support as we check in and board the plane. We're there to ensure the airport experience is as easy as possible, advocate on your behalf, and give you the confidence to fly, so we'll be by your side throughout the journey.

On arrival at our destination, the Limitless Team will help you through the airport and onto the awaiting accessible transfer vehicle. From there, it’s on to your excellent disabled-friendly hotel, where we’ll check in, get you settled and comfortable in your room, and enjoy a delicious evening meal with your fellow guests. 

Day 2 Relax Poolside or Beach Visit

On your first full day in beautiful Italia, we will take it easy, acclimatise to our surroundings and enjoy the hotel’s fantastic facilities. With gorgeous verdant gardens to explore, the tranquil hotel setting is the ideal place to relax, unwind and enjoy la bella vita – the quintessentially Italian approach to the good life.

​While there’s no pool at the hotel, the local accessible beach is just a few minutes away, and we have a convenient accessible minibus to shuttle you back and forth whenever you’re ready. The beach boasts calm, warm waters, and complimentary sea wheelchairs are available, so you can cool off with a refreshing dip whenever you fancy. In the evening, we’ll gather together for a fantastic three-course buffet dinner.

Day 3 Experience Ancient Rome

The cradle of Western civilisation, Rome’s ancient history is simply remarkable, and there are few places in the world where antiquity and modernity stand side by side as they do in the Eternal City. Today, we will board our accessible shuttle and make our way to the Italian capital to tour some of its greatest sites with an English-speaking guide.

You’ll visit the epic Colosseum, where gladiators entertained the Roman public with gory displays of martial prowess, before exploring the city’s civic and political heart, the Roman Forum. After lunch, we’ll continue on foot through downtown Rome, experiencing the iconic Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Piazza Navona along the way. As the day’s excursion nears its end, we head to the Vatican for a fantastic photo opportunity.

Day 4 Enjoy Your Accessible Hotel

Following a fascinating trip to the Italian capital, today is all about relaxing, unwinding and soaking up the Mediterranean sun. Whether you’re getting stuck into your holiday reading, playing cards with your fellow Limitless Travellers, or enjoying a chilled bottle of wine in the gardens, the Limitless Team will be on hand to support you throughout the day.

Of course, the accessible shuttle is also available to take you down to the beach should you wish to cool off with a dip in the Med or stroll the seafront. With the coast just minutes away, it couldn’t be easier to pop down and make the most of the spectacular Pontine Coast. In the evening, we’ll enjoy another delicious three-course buffet dinner.

Day 5 Morning Market in San Felice

San Felice Circeo’s vibrant morning market is the ideal place to pick up your holiday souvenirs, sample delightful local produce and shop for artisan crafts. Following a leisurely breakfast, we will board the accessible shuttle and make the brief journey into the town centre to wander through the market stalls. As well as mouthwatering fruit and fresh veg, keep an eye out for the exquisite Italian leather products – a local specialty!

Following our morning in the market, we will head over to the beach to feel the sand between our toes, compare market buys and enjoy a refreshing beverage. The availability of adapted wheelchairs ensures everyone can make a splash in the Med’s pristine waters, and the Limitless Team will be on hand to help throughout the day. We’ll then head back to the hotel to get ready for dinner.

Day 6 A Taste of Outstanding Olive Oil

Situated just a 10-minute drive from the hotel, the Quattrociocchi olive oil mill produces some of the finest olive oils in the region and is renowned for the quality of its olives and sustainable production methods. Today, we’ll head over to the mill to learn how Quattrociocchi grows and processes olives, and sample some of the many products it makes.

From olive oils and pate to pickled veg and pasta, the mill’s reasonably priced shop boasts a varied selection of goods and is an excellent place to pick up a few local souvenirs. You can also participate in an olive oil tasting session, and savour the mill’s famous olive oils drizzled over locally produced Italian breads.

Day 7 Take It Easy

Your final full day on holiday is all about making the most of your idyllic Italian surroundings. Whether you want to relax in the tranquil hotel gardens, visit San Felice and explore the old town, or head down to the beach for one last swim and sunbathe, we’ll be there to help you round out the holiday in the best way possible.

In the evening, we’ll meet in the hotel dining area for our last Italian feast. Having explored Rome’s ancient history, enjoyed an olive oil odyssey and meandered through San Felice’s morning market together, we’re sure you will have plenty of shared holiday memories to talk over as the sun sets on a beautiful week in Italy.

Today, your accessible holiday comes to an end. After breakfast, the Limitless Team will help you transfer to the airport. We’ll be on hand to help you through the airport, while you’re boarding the plane and during your flight. How do I book a UK short-haul holiday?

The first step in the booking process is speaking to a Limitless Travel Advisor on 0800 711 7112. While many Limitless Travellers contact us knowing exactly which short-haul holiday they want to book, many also call us for advice. We often help our travellers pick out the perfect holiday based on their needs and interests. So don’t hesitate to get in touch, even if you’re not sure which holiday to book yet.

When you’re ready to book, you’ll pay a deposit to confirm your place. The remainder of the balance is payable closer to the departure date. Flexible payment plans are available, allowing you to spread the cost of your holiday.

You will also discuss your holiday and needs with your Personal Travel Advisor to ensure you have the best possible care package and everything has been considered. Finally, the Limitless Care Team will contact you three months before departure to confirm you have all you need, are happy with arrangements, and are ready for your Limitless holiday.

We may also be able to arrange the hire of more specialist equipment, though this is dependent on availability. Flights FAQs

Are flights included in the cost of a Limitless short-haul holiday?

No, flights are not included in the cost of your Limitless short-haul holiday. However, we do provide extensive booking support, and your Limitless Personal Travel Advisor is always available to provide information and assist with any matter relating to travel and flights.

How do I book flights for Limitless holidays?

Having booked your Limitless short-haul holiday, we’ll send out flight details approximately three months before the departure date. You are then responsible for booking flights, though assistance and support are always available from your Personal Travel Advisor. You can choose to fly on a different flight to the Limitless Team and your fellow Limitless Travellers, but we will not be able to provide support at the airport or during the flight in this case. We will still arrange an accessible transfer to the hotel for you if you fly independently.

What airports do Limitless fly from and how do I get there?

For short-haul holidays, we aim to have two flight teams – one flying from a London airport and the other flying from an airport further north, typically Birmingham or Manchester. This gives Limitless Travellers greater choice and reduces travel time to and from the airport. The specific airports we use depend on destination, cost, flight availability and departure time. Where possible, we opt for a mid-day flight for your convenience.

Does Limitless liaise with the airport to organise special assistance?

Limitless Travellers are responsible for contacting and organising the special assistance team at the airport. The airport’s special assistance team will help you with check-in, security and boarding, and we recommend using their services if possible. Though the special assistance team will manage most of your airport experience, the Limitless Team will also be on hand to accompany you, provide support and advocate on your behalf.

How do the Limitless Team provide support at the airport and while flying?

The Limitless Team will usually meet you at the airport's special assistance desk, collect and handle luggage, and provide any support necessary. If required, we can schedule regular check-ins during the flight. Our team is highly experienced and regularly accompanies Limitless Travellers on international flights. As such, we're able to make sure your journey is smooth and comfortable, and you feel confident travelling. For Limitless short-haul holidays, we guarantee we'll be there to help whenever you need us.

If you opt for the One-to-One Care package, your carer will meet you at the designated airport and provide dedicated support throughout the airport, flight, transfer and holiday.

How do we transfer from the destination airport to the hotel?

We've arranged accessible transport for the drive from your destination airport to the hotel, so you don't have to worry about transfers at all. We use transfer vehicles that have been vetted to ensure accessibility and are equipped with a ramp or hydraulic lift.
